MWA Authors at Barnes & Noble:
Of historical interest, June, 2004 event at Barnes & Noble:
Six Midwest Writers Association members, each a book author, talked book-writing in a June presentation for aspiring authors at the Barnes & Noble store in the Old Orchard shopping center, Skokie, Illinois.
The six were Ada Kahn, Raeann Berman, Jim O’Connor, Leslie Levine, Gerry Souter, and Janet Souter. MWA President Meta Levin introduced the group and acted as moderator. Program Chair Ada Kahn coordinated the event.
They were a hit, and Barnes & Noble-Old Orchard has asked MWA to do another. It is set for November, when MWA magazine and newspaper writers will talk about how it’s done.
