Cyndee Schaffer’s book, Mollie’s War: The Letters of a World War II WAC in Europe, has made the finals in the Chicago Writers Association’s first Books of the Year Award for traditional published, non-fiction. She will speak about her book at the Skokie Public Library, March 24 at 2 p.m.
